Gutters & Downspouts

The purpose of gutters and downspouts is to divert water away from your home and its foundation during the rainy season. Often times, gutters and downspouts become clogged with shingle debris from your roof, yard debris and tree roots. When these rain drains become clogged, it results in water flowing out and over the gutters instead of smoothly through the downspout. Rain drain clogging can also result in damage to the interior of your home through leaks in the roof and walls due to the excessive flooding. Additionally, if you are experiencing extremely cold and wet weather, a clogged downspout could result in water freezing against your home or business causing further damage to your property.

We are well versed in all the preventative and safety measures to ensure the job is conducted in the safest manner possible. Our many years of experience in unclogging gutters and downspouts enables us to offer you extremely reasonable and competitive prices. We are also able to schedule biannual cleanings so you never have to worry about the chore getting done in Southeastern Wisconsin's 7 county area, including Kenosha County, Racine County, Walworth County, Milwaukee County, Waukesha County, Ozaukee County, and Washington County.

Many people are tempted to conduct gutter cleaning themselves as they think it will save them money. However, gutter and downspout cleaning can be a challenging task, especially for those who have never done it before. There is also risk involved with performing this routine maintenance service, especially during wet conditions. If you are someone who is not comfortable spending an extended amount of time on a ladder, this is not a cleaning job for you, as one misstep could lead to serious injury.

To best maintain your gutter and downspout and to keep them running smoothly year round, we suggest cleaning them out twice a year. A thorough cleaning in the spring and again in the fall should help prevent any issues associated with a clogged rain drain. Plugged Pipes has many years of experience cleaning out blocked rain drains and we have the skill to complete the job swiftly and accurately.
